Corona Church of

the Open Door

Our Mission

"Go therefore and make disciples."

At Corona Church of the Open Door, our mission is clear: to make disciples both locally and globally. We are committed to using culturally relevant methods — without ever compromising the living Word of God — to reach those who have no relationship with Christ and little to no connection to the Church.

We firmly believe that fulfilling this mission requires teamwork. Jesus Himself never sent His disciples out alone; He empowered them to work together. We embrace that same model, knowing that it truly takes a team to fulfill the vision God has given us.

“To make disciples of all men for Christ’s sake.”

Our vision is to develop passionate followers of the Lord Jesus Christ who carry the transforming power of God to the lost and the hurting. We are committed to raising up authentic disciples who, in turn, make authentic disciples — advancing the Kingdom of God through lives that reflect His love, truth, and power.

Our Vision

What We Believe

At Corona Church of the Open Door, we believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, serving as the foundation for our faith and daily living. We believe in one eternal God who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe God created mankind in His image, but through sin humanity became separated from Him and unable to attain righteousness apart from Christ. We believe the historical accounts recorded in Scripture are true and trustworthy, including creation, Adam and Eve, the flood, and the tower of Babel.

We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. We believe He died for our sins, rose again on the third day, ascended into heaven, and will one day personally return for His Church. We believe salvation is available by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, bringing forgiveness, reconciliation, and eternal life to all who believe.

We believe in water baptism by immersion as an act of obedience to Christ and in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as an empowering experience for believers. We believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit are still active today and that believers are called to live Spirit-filled, holy lives that reflect the love and character of Jesus Christ. We also believe in divine healing, the importance of Communion, the reality of Satan, eternal life for believers, and eternal judgment for those who reject Christ.
